Great location. All major attractions are within walking distance. Please note that there is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage to your room. On arrival we were "upgraded" due to 3 persons staying in the room. We were in room 102 (first floor) with canal view. The room was spacious and well appointed. Note that you are on the water so there are mosquitoes. It wasn't terrible, but I prefer fresh air and therefore had the windows open during the late afternoons/mornings. Mosquito repellant is provided. Bring cream if you do tend to get bitten to avoid the itch. The food in the morning was perfect. Perfect selection of a continental breakfast with coffee from the machine - magic! Breakfast is only served from 07:45 am, although there is a bit of a selection available earlier if you have an earlier tour booked. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which offers discounts on their foods. We never tried it but it was busy with locals so must be a favourite. Overall, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We liked everything. The size of the room was ample, sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the aircon worked perfectly. There was a profusion of very clean towels. There was sufficient stowage space and electrical outlets. The location was excellent, being so close to everything. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Tintoretto's complimentary buffet breakfast in the square by a quiet canal is the best by far out of the 4 lodgings we've been to so far. You could have a really heavy one, and the next meal you need to have is dinner. There are many good eating places for all kinds of budgets within 15 mins walk, from hole-in-the-wall and sit-down extravaganzas. There are also several churches nearby for those who want to pray. We highly recommend Hotel Tintoretto.

We feel SO lucky to have found Hotel Tintoretto! It was a pretty random booking since we had no prior knowledge of the city. We were a family of four and we Loved the room, the staff, and especially the location! Right on a picturesque canal with a darling cafe… only a 15-20 minute walk to St Mark’s square but not mob touristy at all like other areas. Super close to our favorite pubs and wine shops. Kids loved it too … the kitchen guys were awesome and the beds were SO comfortable (if you like firm memory foam)… I’d go back in a heartbeat!

The Tintoretto is a charming traditional 3 star hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the family room in the annex across the road. The room was a good size for a family although the bathroom was a bit small. The aircon was very efficient for the Venetian hot summer. The location of the hotel is fantastic and we were able to walk to all the sights and also the train station. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast was perfect to start the day. We would recommend and stay again at the hotel.

Hotel is very central, there is a bit of noise in the morning but this is Venice and people have to work, but hey ho it did not put me off @ all there is walking involved to get you to the main parts, but I would wholeheartedly say go explore as that’s the beauty of it. Around every little corner there is something new. The rustic look of the whole area for me was exactly how I wanted to see it.
